App Idea:

·      Background: Electrical companies are working toward supplying renewable energy through customer programs.

·      Problem: Few customers are participating in energy programs despite high incentives

·      Solution: A customer facing app that collects data on the customers current status and on their interests/values as it relates to renewable energy programs.

 

Users:

·      Customers: Customers will be the only users that interact with the app interface. They will interact through responding to prompts. Studies indicate that most of the users are of retirement age, but of high affluence which often correlates to familiarity with technology.

·      Electrical companies: Electrical companies are not users of the UI of the app but use the information to modify programs.

·      Social Scientist: The social scientist also will not be interacting directly with the UI, but rather interested in how they will receive data that is outputted.
