Agenda
- Invite Leo / Meara to attend our in-class cognitive walkthrough (February 8, 2:00pm)
Meeting Notes
- Yes, Leo and Meara can make it to our in-class cognitive walkthrough
- Slide 5: Use Scenario Description
- Is a focus on CO2 emissions, not budget in this use scenario example
- Start point node: from supply node to demand node (end point node) or with distribution nodes in-between
- When game starts, game nodes would randomly be generated on map which can not be changed/moved, students would have to work around them
- Comment from Leo on slides being too wordy
- Perhaps change how they are viewed or what is being focused on
- Split up slides into smaller sections
- Ivona can help with educational effectiveness
- Leo and Meara can help with supply chain simulation accuracy
- For bugs and errors
- Test with API controller section with a graph
- So most of testing is focused on API data level and not on testing graphics then
- What kind of limitations do distribution and supply nodes have?
- For now nodes can be set up anywhere
- Transportation methods, what are we using?
- Trucks, trains and boats (speed and capacity vary between them)
- Railroads? Planes (Leo likes the idea)? Perhaps something more fun like a Husky dog sled or a rocket?
- Perhaps have a road or track system
- Could be based on background color that connection line between nodes is on
- Meara will be looking into this a bit as well
Action Items
- Team to take Leo & Meara’s suggestions & clean up presentation before Tuesday’s presentation
