Team 1: MI Herp Atlas Mobile App
The Michigan Herp Atlas is a mobile application designed to record real-time field observations of amphibians and reptiles in Michigan. The app caters to a variety of users, including local people, wildlife enthusiasts, scientists, and educators. It is designed for ease and efficiency of use in the field.The app addresses the limitations of previous data collection methods, such as the obsolete Mobile Mapper app and the inefficient Wordpress form-based system. It provides a more streamlined approach for documenting herpetofauna observations.
