Project Grading Guidelines

Late submission will receive zero. Project reports are due Tuesday Finals Week (12/13) at 11:59 pm. Early submission are before Monday Finals Week (12/12) at 11:59 pm.

I divide the guidelines into main areas:

1. General - guidelines that span the whole document

2. Emphases - parts of the report that should have more weight in the grading

3. De-emphases - parts of the report that should have less weight in the grading

4. Credit - report specifics that should be noted during the grading

5. Extra credit - report specifics that are not required but noted

General:

1. Quality
2. Completeness
3. Readability
4. Content
5. Code comments

Emphases:

1. Real Life Examples
2. Introspective Questions
3. Cost runs
4. Cost Runs Discussions

De-emphases:

1. Correctness runs
2. grammar and spelling

Credit:

1. Credit for explaining errors

Extra credit: (Each are worth 5%)

1. Second implementation
2. Presenting
3. Submitting early
