Information Interpretation of Search and Rescue HRI
SAR uses robots to assist with searches in areas where humans cannot/should not go. The interaction between the user and robot is important to the success of the mission. Specifically, when the robot sends data back to SAR personal, decisions must be made based on the findings. Yet, there is little research on information interpretation as it relates to SAR decision making.
