CS 4331 students,

The following was announced in class on Monday, Nov. 5.
This note is just a copy of that announcement for your
convenience.

The course syllabus has been revised to have one midterm
exam instead of two. This midterm exam will be given in
class on Wednesday, Nov. 14. The material covered on the
midterm is:
        Chapters 1-4 of the textbook
Class notes, including GPU lectures by Dr. Nooshabadi
        Homework 1 topics
        Program 1 topics
        GPU/CPU program topics

Reminder: Your GPU/CPU program is due Wednesday, Nov. 7. Submit
your work according to the directions given in the associated handout.

The change to the number of midterms necessitates a change in
the grade weights for the course, as follows:

The original syllabus scheduled two 1-hour midterms each worth 7.5%
and one 2-hour final exam worth 15%.

The syllabus is now revised to have one 1-hour midterm worth 10%
and one 2-hour final exam worth 20%.
